3 Month Follow-up
I went to see my surgeon yesterday for my 3 month follow-up. She told me that I am losing too fast. Go figure. It was about a month ago when I posted that I thought I was losing too slowly and you guys said not to worry. I've lost 48lbs since surgery on Sept 28. That seems average. I'm losing about 2 lbs per week now. I think my doctor is looking at the overall picture and said I should be averaging about 10lbs per month. Oh well - as long as I get my protein and water in, exercise and do some strength training. In the first month, weight loss was a lot faster, now I am averaging 10lbs a month. What more can I do? Does this seem wrong?
In my first 3 months I lost 65lbs and my doctor was happy, I was told the first couple months you will lose about 20/month and then around month 4-5 10lbs. I am 8 months out now and lose about 5-8/month. So I think it depends on the person and how much you workout and so on. But as a rule of thumb, go with what your doctor says because they have your best interest at heart!
