GET TOGETHER IDEA
I saw a post earlier today about Scrap booking: I had just said to mom the other day that I wanted to start a WLS scrapbook. There seems to be quite a bit of interest on the board so how about it everyone? Daves wife works at a scrap booking store that offers classes. They have a calender of classes on the website for January and february. Does anyone else think this sounds like fun?
I have a bunch of stuff I could use for my first project; Cards of support when I had the surgury; pictures of my progress. Heck if I can find it I could put it the insurance form for the surgury.
I also have about a hundred oh xmas cards . I know we are always trying to think of fun things to do together so how about it?

I would love to pick up the habit.. I have a TON of supplies, because I always think I am going to get started, and I never do. My best friend is a scrapbooker, too bad she lives in NJ and we don't have enough time when we get together for lessons.
There is a great store up in Timonium called Recollections. They're actually a chain owned by the same company that owns Michaels. Funny thing is they are cheaper than Michaels. They also offer classes. I'll jus****ch for what others post, and when something comes up that fits into my crazy retail schedule, I'll sign up.

Hey Kathy! The Recollections store in Columbia is going out of business. Not sure if it's just that location or the whole chain. Check yours out if it's close.

I love the idea except my issue is that I have no one to stay with the kids if Gino is working. His schedule is never a set one although we are hoping he gets more weekends off this year.

That sounds like a fun idea. I espcially like the idea of doing it in Millersville .. not so far of a drive for me. I have lots of things that could be scrapped, though most of my pictures are digital and I've never printed them.
Any commitment on my part depends on date and cost, but I'd like to give it a try.

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Ok I have been talking with Cira and she things Gino is off on Feb. 2nd.
