Dr. Anne Lidor @ Johns Hopkins?

I would like to hear from people who have had their surgeries performed by her...particularly those with really high BMI's.  If you could let me know that you are out there so that I can at least read your profiles, I would appreciate it :) Thanks, Tara

Tara, I had my surgery with Dr. Lidor 9/21/07.  I think she is ok, not a real people person in my opinion.  She knows her stuff and that was very important to me.  I am several months out and feeling great.  I felt very good days after the surgery.  If you are a person that is looking for a dr. to hold your hand though the process, she is not for you.  She tells you like it is and holds nothing back.  I have a god support system so I was lucky.  If you want a dr. that is great at there job then she is right for you.  Just don't look for her to be warm and cozy. Hello... I was 292  right before surgery August 10th 2007 and am now 233... I had Dr Lidor She was awesome... shes very no nonsense and gets the job done right.. Scars are minimal and If it wasn't for eating too fast I wouldn't know I had the surgery. (I ralph when I eat to fast...) She expects you to take care of yourself though... She will NOT do the surgery if she finds you are smoking.. She Takes her work very seriously... At first I was thinking she was a bit tough.... but after surgery visits shes very sweet and gives you compliments if you are working hard getting in your protien and water and vitamins...Just stay on a posaitve path with the surgery.. Shes very supportive. Good luck... DR lIDor gets a thumbs up with me... Love  Marcie
