You are welcome! I am doing fairly well! I have good and ok days now. Food and I are getting along fairly well.
Oh dinner was perfect on New year's. I actually decided that I wanted to cook for him. That way we could enjoy ourselves more. It was so perfect. The kids went over my inlaws, and DHtook them so that I could "get ready". When he got back, we drove to Gunpowder's hammerman area. We walked down the rocks and then around to the beach, and spent some time just snuggling on the sand and talking. Then we came home and I gave him dinner. I made, lunch meat spirals and pita chips with shrimp dip for appetizer. ( I skipped these) and then we had a salad. I had a bite or 2 of this. I made Chesapeake chicken and grren beans almondine for the main meal. I enjoyed a few bites of the crab, and about an ounce of chix. I made cheese cake with fat free cream cheese, and no crust. And I topped it with sugar free strawberry preserves, and an angel food truffle. A layer of angel food cake, then Fat free pudding, then light cool whip. I had a whole piece of the cheesecake. but skipped the other. DH ate so much that night. He said he liked my crab cakes better than the restraunt. That made me happy. But it was nice and me fixing everything allowed me to not focus so much on eating, but gave hime the time to enjoy his meal.
We have been married for almost 14 yrs. I think this was one of our best dates ever. It was nice to focus on each other and not just stuffing our faces.
