Esapogas update. I am finally off the zantac liquid, that is one out of three meds I am taking for my esapogas.  I am getting excited about getting off the Reglan and at least one of the Nexium. I think things are getting better with the more weight that come off.  So we will see in March if I can come off the Reglan.  I take Reglan and Nexium still twice a day. Keeping my chin up! Hugs Kristen

Kristen,     That is awesome. I hope you are able to get off the others too.  I also saw your post about speaking at Sinai. I am sorry that I won't be able to make it, but wanted to wish you all the best!

Great news Kristin! Hopefully your recovery will continue with lightening speed, and soon you'll be med-free. Great to hear that you are speaking at Sinai. I know that some new patients will really appreciate hearing your personal experiences, especially since you have such a positive outlook! I know that when I did my pre-program seminar I really got a lot out of hearing from one of DVR's patients, about her very positive experiences. It helped me make the final decision from Lap-Band to RNY, which was really the best choice for me considering my lifestyle and medical conditions.  Speaking to a person live, and seeing the progress, and positive attitude is a HUGE confidence booster, at least for me.
Hugs!
