I've been giggling all day

My very first WOW moment, and I'm very proud of it.  Had my 1 week post-op today, which is actually day 8.  Thank goodness, I am drain free, which is a great feeling. I am down 18.5, and feeling GREAT! My wow moment came when Dr. Moein said I "lost too much". I can honestly say that I am 40 years old, and I have NEVER heard those words before.  He must not have been overly concerned as he hasn't told me to do anything different than my binder says. I'm going back to work Monday, with his permission. I will do light duty.  I've been walking a lot and don't feel rundown when I do. I feel ready.
Hugs!

YEAH KATHY! That is terrific! I am very happy for you!  Work has been good for me too- BUT take it easy. I did half days my first 2 days back, and very greatful, cause I was wiped when I got home.  WHoohoo On that weight loss! AWESOME!

That is a wow! I am so happy for you. Take it easy at work. You may be surprised how different you will feel actually going out to work. You may want to do half days at first.

Thanks Dee and Aime! My first 2 days back will be shorter since I am owed hours from my last day worked before surgery. I have plenty of PTO remaining, so if I need to use a little more for some half days, I can.
Hugs!

You are such a loser!!!   Sounds like you are doing great though.   I agree with the take it slow going back.  I went back at 2 weeks, but only worked 4 to 5 hours that first week, then 6 to 7 hours the next week, and finally back to full full time the 3rd week back.   I have never had an issue with energy or being tired, but I did find that being in the office was a little different than being home and I needed a 'nap' in the afternoon for a bit. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
