Pain

I am 11 weeks out and have been experiencing pain in my lower abdominal area the last 2 days. I'm not sure what is going on.  I left a message for the Doctor.  I've tried some colace just in case I was backed up.  It didn't help.  Has anyone had this?

I would definitely call the surgeon again and call the surgeon on call if you get no answer. You will never know what it could be if you don't get checked out. I hope you are feeling better soon. Keep us posted.

The PA in the surgeons office said if the pain is not associated with nausea or fever, it is probably constipation.  Well, I've been doubling the colace, but, still pain.  It's a pressure similar to the pressure when I was pregnant (19 years ago).  I'll try calling again.

i had a LOT of pain associated with constipation... i take stool softeners but i also add fiber to a lot of my food and drinks, and at first i used a mineral oil enema to pass the worst of it...if you haven't been going daily, you may want to consider that... good luck!!
