Yes you are right. I forgot about the fibroids. I wish you the very best. I have a friend that adopted two in China it is very expensive but less than what it would cost to adopt from the states.

I am so happy that mine actually stopped my hot flashes for a year. I haven't had any return visitors. I am now starting some hot flashes again, but near as bad as before surgery.

I have PCOS, and in the past 20 years, have probably only had about that many periods. The only time I seem to get them is when I was dieting and actually losing a few pounds. I got mine this week as well Dee, aren't we the lucky girls??

I had not had mine for six months prior to sugury then Wham a week after surgury I got it : then tweeks later ; then three weeks later. Went to see my GYN and she put me on a b/c pill that you take everyday: not 3 weeks on 1 week off: so far so good : she said I should not get any period at all.

LUCKY?? Not sure - But I guess I can take this one drawback to all the positives that are happening! I am actually thinking of calling my midwife to get on the pill. I am very worried about one of those ummm oopsies. I have always had a hard time getting preg. because of no ovulation, BUT we do know with 4 kids that once we get the eggs to work, the rest of it works VERY well. OK gonna go make a phone call now!

Lucky was definitely said tongue in cheek! Changing fem hygiene products while balancing a drain, etc. this week was not how I was going to re-coup.

OH Kathy- You poor dear. I didn't have that aspect to deal with. I called my midwife, she is going to talk to someone- not sure who, but she wants to find out what the best "method" is with the surgery and the absorbtion.
