5 months, Down 111lbs!

Hi all, I went in yesterday to see Dr. Moien and I was shocked.  It's been 5 months since surgery and I'm down 111lbs.    I feel like dancing!! I don't have a scale at home, so I haven't been weighing myself and didn't know what to expect.  I still don't see any change in the mirror, but everyone around me does.  I even got a sassy new haircut this weekend as I was tired of trying to hold on to my thinning long hair.  Anyway, just wanted to share.   For those of you who have lost 100 lbs or more, when you really, really notice for the first time?  What was your first WOW moment? Gratz Taya on your century club accomplishment! I too, have less than 25 lbs b4 I reach my WOW moment. You should be very proud of yourself. I know how you feel on not really seeing a difference, but others can. It does make you feel good though. Take care

wtg  i THOUGHT MY 90 IN FIVE MONTHS WAS GREAT BUT 111 IS FABULOUS I HAVE A 6 MONTH APPT ON JAN 9TH AND AM HOPING TO HAVE A 100 LBS LOSS. CONGRATS    AIN'T WLS GRAND?

Congratz, Taya.  You are really working that tool.  Keep it up to get where you want in weight.  You go girl.  That's amazing.  You dance if you want to. I have so many good examples to look up to.  My WOW moments will come after surgery. gloria

Thanks everyone!  I appreciate the support that this board offers.  Kathy suggested that I put my two faces, 7/17 and yesterday side by side to really see the difference.  My hubby is playing with the pics now, so I should be able to check them out like that. 

Way to go Taya!!! I am stuck at the just under 100 lb mark.
