Surgery Tuesday

Well, I will be off for surgery on Tuesday! I am very excited and nervous also! I am having the DS with Dr. Schweitzer. I am not sure how to put it in my avitar. I am leaving my 7th graders with a sub for two week, that worries me more than the surgery! But I am sure all will be fine! I am on my way to North Carolina to pick up my mom. I am meeting her and my dad half way, she is staying with me for a week. I am so excited!!! She lives in South Carolina and it is a treat to have her up here! My husband is excited too because she is going to cook for him! I did not get her skills! Anyway, talk to you all soon! Hugs Amy

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Amy- I am so excited for you. Have a safe trip down to get your mom, what an amazing blessing that will be! What hosp are you going to? mmm I just changed my info , let me see if I can remember how to do it....

UH HUH got it.. click on "MY OH" at the top.

then click on my account- it may ask you to sign in again. it does sometimes for me.

it has 3 columns ath the bottom, in the surgery related column, you can choose you surgeon under " your surgeon" and you can add your date under "I've got a date"

Big hugs to you Amy! I didn't realize your date was so soon. I'm sure you posted that it was, but I was so busy being neurotic about my date, I missed it. So, you will have the seat next to Dee on the losers bench, and I'll be next in line after that. Do we have other dates this week? Best wishes for an uneventful surgery, and quick recovering. Be sure DH or mom updates the boards for us. I'm hoping we have at least one working computer in the house in the next few days so I can find out how you are doing, and then update everyone on my own progress later this week.
