MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hello I went to Dr. LoMenzo at the University of Maryland Medical Hospital. It was covered by my insurance which is maryland Physcians Care which is thru Medical Assistance. I got approved on the first submission.

Hello.... I hope all is well, I am trying to get VSG or LSG Sleeve. I have Medicare, I was wondering if your procedure was covered 100% & how long was the process. I have to lose at least 100lbs. I know they pay for it if it's medically necessary. I believe the fact that I have Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Pulmonary Hypertension, just to name a few. I definately fit the category. Thanks in advance!

I have medicaid and I got my RNY covered 100%. At that time I have Maryland Physicians Care.

I have Maryland physician care as well and im going to john hopkins . I was wondering if you could give me a run down of the steps you went through?

On the Eastern shore of Maryland, Priority Partners ( Medical Assistance) is accepted by Dr. Zarif.  He is in Berlin Maryland ( outside of Ocean City)  ... Atlantic Bariatric Center.  410-641-3960.  I know they do not participate with United Healthcare Medical Assistance, but they do take Priority Partners and it is a 6 month process.  They also charge the program fee which is not covered by the insurance.  At the time I signed up with them it was 800 dollars.    He is a very nice guy and is also a general surgeon..  he gives lapband seminars at Atlantic General Hospital.
