Thats really about all I know so far. I got a call from my brother in law about 10:45 saying she had just gotten out of surgery and that he was waiting to be able to see her!!! I will update later :)

Thanks for the update, Misty!!  I'm glad it's over!!  I've already given her my cell number, and I live close by, so remind her that she's welcome to call me if she needs anything. Take care, Tia

Thanks I'm really anxious to call her later!! I'll let her wake up a bit and all that to find out how shes feeling and all. I'm wondering if they took her into surgery late or something because she was scheduled at 7:30 and the call was at 10:45 sooo that has me a little nervous!!!

Nope, don't be nervous.  Surgeries rarely start exactly on time and there are always variables - my laparoscopic rny was supposed to take 3-4 hours, and it took 5 because I had old scar tissue from a gallbladder removal.  So don't worry, I'm sure it was fine.  Her husband would've been told had there been a problem, so just assume she came through with flying colors!

I guess they'll have her up and walking as soon as she's able - once she can, she'll feel better and it'll be good for her.

Hi Misty, Thanks for the update. Dr Roe is always late. My surgery was supposed to be at 7:30, as well. He said it would take about an hour, but with him being late and then getting me set up in recovery, he didn't talk to my husband until like 11:00. My husband was freaking out thinking something was wrong. Everything went fine. Give Dianne are best. Wanda

Just wanted to let y'all know I just talked to Di and she's doing good. She said shes feeling okay and very minimal pain and she said she feels pretty good!!! Her o2 sats have been okay but she had some problems with her Asthma afterwards but shes doing good!!
