Hello. I am having the Lap Band surgery on 11-27-07 in Michigan. I will be seeing Dr. Susan Brinkley in Frederick, MD for my fills. Has anyone seen her? Does anyone know any other docs in MD or within a couple of hours to Kent Island that do fills? Just curious to explore my options.

St Agnes hospital in Baltimore has Dr Averbach and Dr Singh. I had RNY with Dr Averbach but I know they do lots of lap band.I was not a candidate for it. I don't know how any Dr works it if they don't do the initial surgery. I guess they would have to get in touch with the Michigan surgeon. You can always call and ask.Good luck.Have a great day.

Going in the 'other' direction from Baltimore ... Delmarva Bariatric Center in Salisbury does lap band, not sure if they would do another doctor's fills, but you could always check.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
