Please pray and hope for me

Hi all, I know you have all been a great support through this journey and have answered my questions and healed my worries all along. As you might know, my insurance is about to change beginning of the year and the new insurance would not cover WLS. I have finished 4 months of 6 months pre-operation diet; however my surgeon's office and I decided to submit to insurance to take a long shot and see if they approve me. I gave the last documentation to the office last night and they said they will submit it soon. Now I am asking all of you to pray for me to be approved and be approved fast so I can have the surgery before New Year. It is a lot to ask G-d, I know that, but I am taking my chances and have faith he will direct me to where my destiny is.  Thank you all for being here for me, other than my hubby, mom, a friend and sister, you are the only family who has known my struggle through this. Ellie, You have my prayers.  As I think I may have told you, I was supposed to do a 6-month diet, but Dr. S decided we'd go for it anyway and I got approved.  If you don't get approved at first, appeal it a couple of times.  I'm believing things will work out for you! Edie

Edie, Thanks, I actually was mentioning your case to my DH  last weekend whne trying to write my letter. Lets hope for the best and I appreciate your positive attitude. Ellie

Good luck!  This happened to my best friend.  She was halfway through the 6 months and her insurance was changing.   She called and talked with an rep at the insurance compa dn they said that as long as she submitted and got approved, even if the date was after Jan 1, they would cover it.  I was shocked.  She did get approved in late December 05 and had surgery in March 06.  And yes, the original insurance company did pay.  I don't know if this is the norm or what, but it's worth a call. 

Send all my prayers your way today. I know that I looked at it the same way you are. If it goes through than it must be God's will. But I know for me during that time I wasjust really hoping that God's will way what I wanted it to be. I sure hope your approval comes fast and it comes back covered. 

Thanks Dee, you took the words out of my mouth, I have put everyting in G-d's hand however I still hope that G-d's will would be what I hope for.

I know how important this is.  I have heard many times of an insurance company giving approval early.  Good luck and God's speed and guidance. You are  in my prayers.
