Changing Hospitals for DIL
I received a call this morning from N. The team of doctors at Sinai ave decided to transfer her to Univ of Maryland Hospital. I was in my car in no time flat. Her cardiologist came in a spoke with us. Apparently she has decided that the best caridac surgical team needs to be available when N is delivered at 28 weeks.
I am sad to see her leave the care of this cardiologist. However, I am so very impressed with the manner in which this doctor handles her patients. She is proactive and not reactive. She continues to provide us with hope for N's future as well as for the little sweet baby she is carrying.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers for my son and N.

The love of my OH Family has me humbled!!!!
Aime that is the best place, my sister just had Nathan there 4 months ago. The NICU is great there as well. I have a ton of friends that are nurses there. I had Gabby at Johns Hopkins in the main hospital and they were a great team as well. Hopkins and Univer. have some of the same people on there teams and they go into both hospitals. She will do wonderful and so will the baby. I will be thinking about them. Hugs Kristen
Aime, you are a gem! I'm sure your son and N are so grateful to have you by their side. This can't be an easy time for them. Sounds like she has a great team of doctors looking out for both mommy and son. Best wishes to them both for a smooth delivery, fast growing for little one, and fast healing for mom. I hope that delivery is just the beginning of the road to her recovery.
Hugs!

Hi Aime,
N and baby will be in excellent hands and from what I have heard the NICU there is great!
Keep us posted on how everything goes. I know you must be so nervous and scared about everything.
I will definitely continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
