Abnormal EKG? Am I doomed or what?

Ellie, my EKG is abnormal, too.  I used to be a pretty serious competitive swimmer in my youth and my heart is somewhat enlarged.  I have a very slow pulse and a funky EKG.  The first time my PCP did an EKG, for a prior surgery, she sent it to a cardiologist for evaluation because it showed my heart is enlarged.  He came back and said, "This woman's EKG looks like a marathon runner's EKG.  Nothing to worry about."  There are all kinds of reasons for them to be funky.  Edie
