Hi Karen, Sorry this response is late - I was away for the weekend.  I also had my bypass on 9/28 and have been losing SLOWLY!!!  I started out quite a bit heavier at 284 and am now down about 28 pounds.  I was under the impression (and desire) that it would move quicker.  But I am grateful for any weightloss since that was obviously what I was unsuccessful at prior to surgery.  I am taking walks but I will go back to the gym that we had been to before - I am just waiting until after my vacation to do so - I can't afford to pay for it if I'm not going to be there. Good luck to you! Kendra

Hey Kendra

I think we'll be ok.  I've read some other boards where folks are stalled from weeks 4-6.  I just slowed down a lot.  It's probably nothing to worry about.  I started losing again this weekend.  I lost 3 lbs - Woo hoo!  Maybe if it's slow and steady we won't have a lot of extra skin - wishful thinking :-)

Good luck to you too.

Karen
