Tomorrow is D-Day For Me

Hi Everybody, I know I've been MIA from the boards lately.  I've been very busy at work (have very limited/no access to the site during work) and also in my personal life.  Work speaks for itself.  In my personal life I've been busy getting ready for the next step in my WLS journey, which happens tomorrow.  I'm scheduled for brachioplasty (good-bye to the batwings!) and upper body lift (good-bye extra skin and hello to nice perky boobies!)  beginning at 7:45am tomorrow morning.  The surgery is supposed to last 9 hours.  I'm starting to get a little antsy, but I guess that's normal.   This one is not supposed to be as disruptive (surgery wise) as the lower body lift.  I'm thinking the recovery is going to be a little frustrating due to the fact that I won't be able to use my arms for a few weeks.  I'm going to have scars from elbow to hip on each side and also in the chest area.  The doctor thinks this will give me the best outcome.  I'm looking forward to having this all behind me.  In the meantime, I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off getting stuff done around my house that's not going to get done while I can't use my arms.   I plan to use my recuperation time catching up on reading and watching the boob tube.  Anyway, prayers, positive thoughts, good vibes during my surgery tomorrow and my recuperation in the days to come would be most appreciated!  McMom or McSis will be calling Tia once I'm out of surgery (I hope you don't mind Tia).   Have a Wonderful Week! Hugs, T ps - I'll get on the computer to update everybody as soon as I can.

Take Care,
Terry
