Good morning friends. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and have dropped 23 lbs and 17% of my body weight....woo-hoo!!!  Clothes that were getting pretty tight last winter are getting a little too big for me now. I have several things to be grateful for so far 1. I no longer use my c-pap 2. I no longer take lipitor for high cholesterol 3. I no longer have stress incontinence 4. I no longer have to get into pjs as soon as I get home from work (although sometimes I still do) 5. I no longer cut my breath off when I am filing papers in the bottom file cabinet at work 6. my house is much more organized due to increased energy 7. I was able to wear my pearl necklace to work today because it is no longer a choker on me I am sure there are many more grateful things to be coming in the future. I just cannot wait to see what the next one is. I love you all...........

Hi Gail, That is so awesome!   I remember how 'discouraged' you were facing the 6 month supervised thing and now you are already two months post op.   WOW !!!  How time just flies. Best wishes as the journey continues. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Thanks so much for uplifting my spirits even a bit more today. Congratulations on your great weight loss, and what a nice list of things that you have accomplished. That's quite impressive for just one  month.
Hugs!

Gail, I am so happy for you.  Your success is very inspiring and encouraging for us all.  You should be quite proud of yourself.  This is not an easy process but the rewards are tremendous.  I am happy to see your health improving so quickly.  And just imagine, it only keeps getting better!   Hugs, Robin
