How do I say this.....

...I'm PREGNANT!  Okay, so bear with me.  I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and it took 9 years and plenty of fertility drugs to get pregnant with Kylie who will be 3 on 11/30.  Then last year I got pregnant out of the blue SOMEHOW without drugs or even planning and found out a week before my first scheduled lap band surgery date.  I miscarried at 12 weeks.  Then I got an IUD installed so I didn't have to reschedule my sugery again and had my band surgery in September of 2006.  I have lost 80 pounds and still have the IUD.  My cycles have been VERY regular for over a year now averaging about every 26-28 days.  Now I am a week late WITH AN IUD.  I just took a pregnancy test and it is POSITIVE.  The only thing I can think is that either the 80 pound loss has loosened the IUD or last month when Kylie jumped on my belly (very painful because I didn't realize she was about to pounce on me) she knocked it loose.  (Some of you know we were planning on having the IUD removed and trying for another baby some time soon, this was just MUCH sooner than expected).  So, I guess I will take the second test in the morning and if that is positive I'll have to call my GYN to have the IUD removed asap.

Revised to VSG (6/11/09) weighing 253...

Hugs & smoochies for a very healthy and happy pregnancy!!! Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
