Does anyone know of a local source for purchasing a variety of the sugar free syrups?  If not, who is the best online source? Thanks,

Hi April, Some Sam's clubs have a limited number of SF flavors (Kahlua, Blueberry, Hazelnut, Caramel, Vanilla).   I know the Sam's in Annapolis has the Davinci's, but the one at Port Washington (?? .. right near the Baltimore Sun Plant) does not have the Davinci's.  I think when I get it at Sam's it's 4.50-ish for a 750 ml bottle I've also heard that TJ Maxx stores have various SF syrups. Good luck! Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hey Mo, How are you? Thanks for answering.  Someone on the Main Board also mentioned TJ Maxx.  I think I'll call my local store tomorrow to see if and what they carry. Thanks.

I've purchased Torani Syrups from A.J. Wright locations on Security Blvd and the one in Dundalk on Merritt Blvd.  They are also available on ebay, but I've yet to see a listing that seemed worthwhile because of the high shipping costs (weight of the bottles).

I went online tonight and placed an order with bariatriceating.com, but you're right.  It would be so much better if we could find it locally without having to pay shipping.  I will check out AJ  Wright in Bel Air. Thanks for the input.

Superfresh, Giant, and Weis carry a few of the sugar free syrups...so does Walmart.  TJ Max, AJ Wright are also places to find them (in their gourmet food sections...)

We have a really big Giant in Abingdon.  Perhaps I'll try there first. Thanks for answering.

This stuff must be good, is it just for coffee?

Hi Kristen, Just saw your post here.  Sorry to hear that your sister is having such a rough time.  She will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Anyway, these syrups are not just for coffee.  They can be used in many of your protein shakes, teas, yogurt, etc.  Anywhere you want to add some flavoring.   Google Torani or Davinci Sugar Free Syrup.  Their websites have recipes and examples. Tonight I mixed a packet of IDS Belgian Chocolate protein powder, 6 oz lowfat milk, 1 oz SF Davinci Toasted Marshmellow, and around 6 ice cubes.  Mixed in blender on low until the ice was pretty pulverized.  Most protein mixes will have too much foam if you mix them on high.  This tasted like a chocolate malt.  No lie! Let me know if you try the syrups or if you want some recipes.  I do have a few. Tale care,

http://www.lollicupstore.com/torani-syrup.html Sorry, my browser won't post a link so you will have to copy and paste. This was the best prices I found.  I personally prefer Torani syrup, and they have a deal if you order a case of assorted bottles they are only $4 a bottle. I forgot to look and see how much they charge for shipping though. But, I know they also carry DaVinci. Kristin, I don't drink coffee. I used them over shaved ice, and to mix with seltzer (while I can still drink seltzer that is). You can use them just about anywhere you would like to flavor something. I actually put a bit of the SF cherry in with pan fried ham steak once, and it was great. I didn't want to add calories or carbs from glazing the ham.
Hugs!
