Well - it sure seems real now- Just got off the phone with my insurance to ask about another bill, and so I asked "BTW- how long till I will know if the ins is going to pay for my gastric bypass?" She said - "Right now- you have been approved and the paperwork is on its way"

Can I just say that I am excited and yet a bundle of OH MY 's at the same time. Kinda like when you find out your pregnant. That whole "WOW- I am tremendously happy but umm what have I got myself into??? " feeling. Whoohoo!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Congrats Dee! Now to get on that schedule. Well, at least one of us heard. Anyone wanting to know the status of my saga can check out my profile. I don't want to hijack someone's joy. Woohoo Dee! It's nice to hear that this is as exciting as finding out you are pregnant. That is something to look forward to (the joy, not the pregnancy, lol).
