I've updated a couple of my webshots albums with new pictures and loaded a whole new album with the Charlotte October 2007 pics! http://community.webshots.com/user/mo21012 We had a very relaxing and laid back trip.   In May we usually spend a lot of time running around and the October trip is more subdued.   I think I read 4 books while I sat on the patio in the sun! Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I was checking out some of your pics and you really look great!!  Congrats for taking the more subdued vacation.  It seems like when my wife and I travel, we get up at the crack of dawn and tour whatever there is to tour and see whatever there is to see.  We're always trying to pack as much into a day as possible.  I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that but I always need to get back to work so I can rest!!  :-)

Hi Eric, We take the same 3 weeks every year .. 2 weeks in May and another week in October and go to Concord/Charlotte NC for the NASCAR races.   We have been doing pretty much the same thing since 1999 and it's easy to be subdued, because there's not much 'new' to see!!!   There are weeks when I've got everything timed to the minute and we are up and on the road and running the whole time and I'm glad to get back to work to 'rest'.   I am thinking by next May I'll be ready for some running around and seeing what we haven't seen before.   There's a gem mine that friends told us about and a few wineries, so we may be buzzing all over NC for a few days. Hugs, Mo
