A Little Bumed Out

It has been two and a half weeks since my paperwork has been faxed to the insurance company. I have been calling about every three or four days just to check to see if they received the papers. Well yesterday the insurance company said that they still have not received any papers. I called my doctor's office this morning at 8:30 to see if they could refax. Well, they could not find my file. It is now 3pm and they have not found my files yet. Amy

Amy, there are big hugs and very positive thoughts coming your way.  I am so sorry you are having to be stressed out like this.  I used to work in a medical front office, so I know things like this can happen.  I can say that I never failed to find a file within one business day.  It wasn't often, but sometimes they were filed in the wrong alpha order, or wound up on the doctors desk and they doctors spend so little time in their offices, they don't always remember putting them in there.  So, I sincerely hope they find it quickly, and that your insurance company can process your request quickly. Believe me, I know the wait is hell.

Hi Kathy, Thank you for the hugs! I needed them! You are right, it is probably just in the wrong spot. I am sure they will find it soon and get it out to the insurance. Are you still waiting to hear from your insurance? Amy
