Waldoft Support Group
My thanks to Kay for another fine meeting.
I wanted to share something with the group. I was thinking this morning about ordering some of the Juice Plus+ that the doc recommended. I found this web site and now I'm not so sure whether I will or not.

I'm not saying don't buy the product. It's just a bit on the expensive side so be sure to know what you're buying.
I hope this helps.

Hi, Eric. It was nice meeting you in person. You look great and your smile shows you feel great. My sister who didn't want me to do wls now said she would support me in my decision to have surgery.
I agree with you, also. That is very expensive when MVI cost much less.
Maybe with a juicer we could do some veggies that way after a while out of surgery. Just a thought. What you think?
JuicePlus+ came up in the meeting when somebody asked if one brand of vitamins was any better than any other brand. His answer was no and then he made the comment that he's telling his patients to take the JusicePlus+ in place of vitamins. The product supposedly takes all the vitamins and other good stuff from veggies and compresses them into a pill form. They even have chewables and gummy versions. The doc said he takes it himself and that it works very well. I can only assume he has bloodwork to back the claim... which is a good thing. John, one of the other guys at the meeting, says he takes the JuicePlus+ in addition to his vitamins, not in place of them.
The web site, www.juiceplus.com , will sell you a four-month supply and charge your credit card in monthly installments. I don't necessarily have a problem with this but I did not see an option to just pay for them up-front (Maybe I didn't look hard enough?). What I don't like is that one of the pages stated that four months after your initial order they would send you another 4 month shipment and keep billing your credit card unless you specifically contact them and opt out. I do not like this business practice because I'm sure tons of people (myself included) forget to contact them and then it is too late.
Like I said before, I was ready to go out and buy some after hearing the doc talk about it. If I could run down to the store and buy one month off the shelf, I would definitely try it. But, between the other web site's article and having them in my credit card on a monthly basis, I seriously doubt I will.
I hope this helps.
