I no longer qualify for surgery...

well - I wouldn't qualify if I hadn't already had it.  As of this morning my BMI is 39.8 and since I needed to be at 40 or above, if I went it today I wouldn't qualify. I have also "lost" my son.  I have lost more weight than he weighs at 3 years old.  Next up, I hope to "lose" my 8 year old daughter, and some time down the road I will get rid of the 16 year old as well. I'm lovin' the loser's bench. Ted

Congratulations Ted!!  It feels so good huh!?!  Before you know it you will have a normal BMI and you will have "lost" those kids!    

Ted, Congradulations on the loss of your kids equivalant weight. I usaully think about it as well, I even think who I have on my shoulders carrying with me all the time! My son is 100 lbs and he is the one Dr. suggested I cna be able to lose after the surgery, however I don't mind losing my 3 year daughter ( amount of weight) as well. For now I am happy to just get approved and have the surgery. Ellie

That's awesome, Ted!   It's funny that you compare the weight to your son. I fugured out the other day that I've lost more than my 9 year old niece!   Congratz!!
