Hi. I am 2 months out from surgery and have lost 50 pounds. I am very pleased. I have gone from wearing tight 38W's to 32W's and I even, because of my pear shape, have bought a 26W party dress to wear to a wedding reception the beginning of November. My hips no longer hurt. I am so happy about that. Today I walked the steps instead of taking the elevator. Granted it was down the steps but it was a start. LOL I am so grateful to the Good Lord that I have had no complications and hope that I continue to do so well. I also would like to thank all of you on this forum. It has been a wonderful place to come and learn and share ideas. I value your friendships a lot. It is greatly appreciated. Hugs. Joteddie

Great job on the weight loss.  Hold on to the receipt for your new party dress, it may be to big by November. I thank God for Dr. Schweitzer and his mad skills!!!  I have been blessed with no complications so far. I keep my figures crossed that none come up. Melanie

JO, Congradulations, I have to agree with pp, you mmight have to change the dress by that wedding in November, it would be 4 months anniversary and you would have definitely lost much more by then. Anyway, it is great news that you have your life back, Good luck Ellie

Jo That is just wonderful and tomorrow you will go up the stairs.  In time it will all come and so does the weight loss.  You are doing a wonderful job and it is now paying off.  The doctors just give us the tool that we need and then we go from there.  Best Wishes! Hugs Kristen PS Have a good time this coming weekend at the beach, put your toe's in the sand for me!
