Trader Joe's

You are making me jealous girl. There is nothing in Cumberland. But they are building a new mall and I am hoping that it will have some healthier kinds of stores like trader joes.

The next time you come to visit your brother, stop at the one just by 695 and Reisterstown Road. It is just off the beltway heading towards Reisterstown.

They have wonderful soups in aseptic packaging, e.g., butternut squash, roasted corn, etc. that work for a liquid or pureed phase. They are pretty thin, completely smooth and taste good without being "spicy."  I went to Trader Joe's last Sunday as part of my pre-surgery shopping..

Kristen I can't wait for the store to open in Columbia. I saw the sign for it the other day. I plan on going over to check it out on my lunhc break once it is open. Kelli

Kristen, They have wonderful snacks that even my kids love as well as wonderul cereal. Their nuts and dried fruit section has a large variety. I go ther every Friday afternoon and I buy stuff (such as coffee, pesto or pasta sauce,m olive oil, crackers, breads) that are even cheaper than Shoppers or other economy friendly grocery shopps. My kids know our Friday afternoons are TJ day.   Check their low carb choclate as well, I know we are supposed to give each other health hints but this one is REALLY good.  Enjoy, Ellie

Kristen, yep, it's going in the new shopping center at 175 and 108 just off I-95.  I work 5 minutes from there.  WOOHOO!!!  I love me some TJs!!!
