"Past the point of no return"

That song from Phantom of the Opera just won't leave my head.  This is it, folks. I have a 9:45 report time, but I'm busy this morning getting some last minute things done and taking Madeline to school in a few minutes. I'm only starting to get anxious.  Didn't sleep that well last night.  Hungry this morning.  But my nerves hadn't been as bad as for other surgeries.  I'm riding this wave of love and support from my OH friends, China friends, work colleagues who know, mothers of Madeline's classmates, and extended family.  I'm grateful for that!!!!  Thanks everyone.  I'm gonna be all right! I'll call someone so they can post for me.

We're in your corner Edie!!  All the best for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.   Madeline will have fun being your nurse when you get home.  Hailee had a great time "taking care of Mommy" while I was recovering, plus she was a great walking buddy for me.  Please let us know how you're doing as soon as you're up and around.  I'll be thinking happy thoughts for you!!  Best, Elaine
