Does anybody have a problem with aspartame?

Hey out there! Has anyone had problems with aspartame? I just drink some peach diet snapple and i was i could just throw up and get it over with. I have this horrible churning in my stomach and i feel queasy.

Hello, I am sorry you feel sick. I get really bad migraines or regular headaches with aspertame.    Maybe you drank it too fast?  

I'm with Cira.  It hasn't upset my stomach, but it has always given me headaches.  I have to read food labels carefully to make sure that if it has artificial sweetner, it's Splenda (sucralose) and not NutraSweet (aspartame). Hope your tummy feels better soon! Elaine

I can't use Splenda much. It will gas me up and send me running in no time.

Amazingly, no sweeteners bother me, even sugar.  I am 3 months post op and sugar does not make me dump.  It could be the aspartame, but perhaps it's the caffeine.  I've not ben able to drink caffeine since surgery.

I couldn't handle aspartame preop and now that I'm post op I really cannot handle it.
