What a great day! I spent this morning and early afternoon on the motorcycle course working towards my license (say a prayer, I take the test tomorrow am).  Then on my way to my 20th HS reunion I stopped into Belk to get some blouses to wear to work - all of mine are doing the "Flashdance" off the shoulder thing, and not on purpose - and I bought size L ---just L with NO X's in front!!!   And at the reunion I watched more jaws drop to the floor than I would have ever imagined!  And just because there is a tad of caddy in me,,,3 of the snot nosed tiny hiney witches from my class each have a good 30-40# on me now!

Of course, I wish you luck with your test. I admire your sense of adventure. Motorcycles terrify me. Congrats on being down to a sz. L.  That is a BIG goal for me. I am participating in a protest for open adoption records next summer, and I hope to be much smaller by then. I was thinking of ordering my s-shirt in a sz. L or XL (now I am between 2-3X) just to have a goal of fitting into something so small.  I think all of us have a little catty in our systems after years of being talked about and made fun of for being overweight.  I actually skipped all but my 5 year reunion. My 20th was 2 years ago, and I almost went, but at the last minute chickened out, because I was feeling so huge.  Now, my 25th will be another story, I will go, and I will have a great time, and I know I will be looking for the few girls who are bigger than I will be, and I'll secretly be saying hahaha.
Hugs!

Congrats on all of your wows!!! My sister got her motorcycle license. She and her friend love to ride their Harley's. I might be willing to try it some day except I think you are supposed to be able to reach the ground to hold the bike up. My legs just don't stretch any further.

A lot of my neighbors ride and I was sitting here last spring, on the porch with my coffee on  a beautiful Saturday morning, and thought "I want to go with them" - that got my brain  moving in that direction.  So I started researching....you know, they do make LOW versions of bikes for those with shorter legs!   Unfortunately, I didn't make my license yesterday though - I missed it by 1 point!  But I can go back either next week or the week after and re test. The instructor felt certain it was just fatigue from spending 10 hours riding in 2 days when I had never been on a bike in my life.  And besides, the other 're-tester' is a guy and he missed 9 more points than me! :)
