Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been on Oh for a while but this the first time I have been on the Maryland board. I am usally on the Main. Just wondering if anyone is from the lower shore of Maryland. I am from the lovely little town called Stockton not to far from Ocean city. Anyways I got my surgery date on Wed it will be Oct. 22nd.. WOO HOO Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Welcome to the MD boards! You will just love it here. This is the most welcoming and supportive group I've had the pleasure of meeting! Congrats on your surgery date, it's just around the corner. You'll be a big loser in no time, hee hee. Bet you never thought you'd hope to say that.

How are things going for you. I am very excited Im sure you know the feeling. By the way I want to say thanks to every one. My next appt. with him is the 17th in the afternoon for my preop.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
