I'm home
Hi gang. I got home about 1:30 this afternoon. I'm feeling pretty good except when I yawn....ouch!
I'm working hard with the liquids but it is so hard to keep track....at least 3 ozs every 30 mins, but no more than 5. I am still using the medicine cups.
Thank you Cira for giving an update on me. Actually, everything went fine with no problems...except for the nausea. I vomited immediately after drinking the stuff for the leak test. Yuck!
I am glad to be home so I can begin the journey. I also have alot of churning going on.
Well...off to change my filter hanging from my tummy. I will check in tomorrow.
Love you guys...Gail

Hey Gail -
You loser, you!!! Sounds great, doesn't it???? Glad everything went relatively well, with the exception of the vomiting!! Never fun, but less so when you've just had surgery.
You'll get the hang of the liquids, in no time at all, it'll become second nature. Just hang in there and continue to sip, walk and rest. Keep in mind that your body's just gone through a major trauma and will need time to adjust - as will your head!!!
Take care and let us know if you need anything!
Tia
Welcome home!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
