Good afternoon everyone, I just wanted to say a quick hello. I've been lurking for a few months nows. I had RNY gastric bypass on 7/6/07, at GBMC with Dr. Moein. I feel great and so far, I've had no complications. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone and sharing great information. Taya

P.S. I'm a bit of a goof - how'd you guys get those cute tickers to show up?

Hi Taya! I am also a patient of Dr. Moein. I'm currently awaiting a surgery date. I'm always thrilled (and very relieved) to hear positive reviews of him! Welcome to the board. You'll find a lot of great advice, support and just general good feelings here. As far as the tickers, I'm sure someone else will answer. I've had no luck, even after following all of the directions. I think it is something with the computer that I use (it's my roommates). Mine is ready for the computer graveyard, and I haven't had a chance to go to the library and see if I can import the ticker into my sig from another computer.

Congratulations on your surgery and I am glad to hear that you are doing great. I had DVR and he is awesome too. Wishing you a wonderful journey. As for the ticker you go to tickerfactory.com create your ticker and copy the ticker itself not the codes itself. then you come back over here and click on user settings on the left hand side and paste your ticker on the signature line and save it. Let me know if yu need further help. Take care

Thanks for the welcome! Kathy - good luck with your approval and hopefully you'll get a surgical date soon. Cira - yes, my mom was seeing DVR and loved him. Thanks for the help with the ticker. I think I got it and I'll know with this post.
