Good morning October 2 ...
Happy October I've been busy with work stuff and life the last couple of weeks and been MIA. I am still busy, but thought I would take a few minutes this morning to catch up. I've not been so good with the gym the last few weeks ... I've had problems getting back into the swing of things after the whole kidney stone/stent/lithotripsy thing put me off schedule. I've missed quite a few days, but I keep trying. Last week I think I made 2 days, and I did get there this morning. I feel soooooo much better all day when I exercise in the morning so I really need to make more of an effort. I've not been doing any strength training, just hitting the treadmill with an incline of 10 and pushing about 3.0 mph. I remember when 3 mph on a flat incline was a struggle ... so I've come a long way. We will be going away next week (leaving on Sunday and returning Monday the 15th). I'm having lithotripsy on the other kidney on the 18th, but without a stent so hopefully that will not mess up the gym routine too much. I'm hoping/planning to walk every morning while we are away. I was pretty good with that in May. Two laps around the outside perimeter of the campround gives me a reasonable workout. Work is still busy ... it's that time of year .. and we are still down a body. We are almost done interviewing and hope to make a selection this week. It will still take a month to get some one in, with the paperwork and having to start them on the first day of a pay period, but I'm hopeful for Nov 1. I've got another staffer going out on medical for a while so it's going to be really tense for a bit longer but eventually it HAS to get better!!!! I had better get with it here, need to set up the laptop and projector for a conference call/training session this morning and make sure everything else is happening the way it should. Have a wonderful Tuesday. Hugs, Mo

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hi Mo,
Good to hear from you; glad that you seem to be doing better. I'm sure the rest and relaxation of the campground will be helpful. It has been pretty busy lately. I still haven't adjusted to my girls' school and extra-curricular activities yet. Hopefully, by the end of this month, I'll be in the groove. Oh well, have a great October!! ~~ Trish

Both NASCAR and camping related!!! But Lefty gets to go with us, so he's a happy camper. It's really hard to call it camping in an almost 40 luxury motorhome though .. with the widescreen HD TV and surround sound Our October trip we usually just sort of relax and don't do a lot of running around. We need to have some service things done to the RV, and even though they do not take appointments during race week, I sent an email week before last with the things that need to be taken care of and that we expected them to be done on Monday so that our vacation is not inconvenienced ... while the RV is in the shop it will mean that Lefty has to go in the Blazer with us ... he's getting to be one very spoiled fur-child. This 'Mark' might be the one ... I have to tell you all 3 of my sisters-in-law have married 'Steves'. The oldest has married two Steves (Husband #1 and #2), the 2nd one's first was a Steve (the 2nd is Tom), and the 3rd one finally got married in her late 30's ... to a .. guess what .. STEVE !!!! I've got to go do the Detention Center deposit and settlement .. it's gonna be UGLY today .. but someone's gotta do it. Nails & toesies after work .. so there's a treat for me.
Hugs & smoochies, Mo
