WLS Friends needed
Hi Gail. I think I saw you at the GBMC support group meeting last week? I thought you looked familiar (from your profile picture). If it was you, sorry I didn't stop by and introduce myself. So, since I don't know if and when I will be online this weekend, I wanted to extend best wishes for an uneventful surgery on Tuesday, and a speedy recovery. Can't wait to hear how things go for you.
Hugs!

Good morning. Welcome back to the board. We actually have someone planning an outing for our group in October, one of the first three Sundays. A date has not been set just yet but keep checking back for an update from Tia! I believe we will be meeting at Weber's Farm. It'll be a lot of fun. We try to have get togethers about once a month or so. They are fun and it is great to get to see everyone and get to know each other a little better. I do not post often, usually only log in here at work and don't have a lot of time to post most days. But be sure to stop by often and post away with us!
Where are you at in your WLS? I haven't look at your profile so I am not sure if you have had surgery or are still looking into it. I am 18 months post-op WLS and 6 weeks post-op plastics (lower body lift). I have lost 120 lbs and feel wonderful.
Hope to see you in Oct.
Hugs, Robin

Thank you for welcoming me back. Well Ladies I live in towson. But i did have a restaurant that I just forclosed last week. My father became very ill in Greece and almost died a few times while in ICU there for 7 months, hes now recovering well after 12 surgerys. But with all the stress of both things I have put on some weight I got down to 155 and now im 175..I would like to meet people though in my area who have had WLS so i can get back into my groove because other people dont understand. And I would just like to meet new people and really be involved in helping people.
Hi! So glad to hear your father is out of the woods. I hope he continues to improve! I'm sure it was difficult for you to handle, and I can understand how what you eat isn't a priority during a time like that. Anyhow... I'm in Parkville, near the Towson border. I use public transportation, but usually don't have a problem getting where I need to go. So, I look forward to meeting everyone in the area eventually. Right now I am waiting for my insurance approval. I will most likely have my RNY surgery in November with Dr. Moeinomolki at GBMC. I know I'll need advice and support then!
Hugs!

Hi:
I live in the Timonium area and have just begun this journey;
I am about 3 months postop and have a long way to go but I am feeling good
and exercising almost everyday.
I am going to the MAC and have become almost addicted. I guess that makes
sense: they say a lot of people get new addictions after WLS; at least I have a healthy
one.
I will send a PM with my phone # if you want to call me.
Maybe you can give me some tips on this new way of life.
