If you have never attended the festival, i strongly recommend you go. I went yesterday for the fist time in over 10 years. I walked and walked all day. It was so much fun. I could even handle the heat. I did well with the food offerings there. My friend got a smoked turkey leg and I just took a couple of bites from it. They do sell plenty of water. I was disappointed that there were no sugar-free options with the selections of items to eat that may have been a treat. However, they may be a blessing in disguise as I didn't tempt myself as I would have pre-surgery. I was able to walk all day. The shows were great. it was a wonderful way to spend the day.

Aime, glad you had a good time!  I've been trying to squeeze a visit in for my family, but it's pretty tough right now with high school obligations.  Would love to go though.  I know I'd enjoy it lots more than the last time I went.  It's a great feeling knowing that you can walk forever.  What a difference, huh?  Hope your doing well.  Enjoy today. Aime There shows are so great, we usually go every year.  I do not want to go this year, cause It was a big eat fest for me and just do not want to have to deal with that, just yet.  Next year is will be better cause I will be smaller:) Hugs Kristen

My family and I love the Ren Fest - last year I went into labor not long after walking around there all day!!  I think I'm going to avoid it this year because I'll be so fresh post-op but I am going to miss it!  So glad you had a great time! Kendra
