Tri County WLS support group meeting 9/19/07 7pm

Hello Marylanders,  Just a warm welcome to those of you in Southern Maryland and near vicinity.  We are having our monthly mtg. at the SMECO building in White Plains, Md.  at 7pm Wednesday 9/19  . ( on rt. 301 also called Crain Hwy.  south of Waldorf, Md.  on the right if travelling south on 301.  Also south of the WAWA on the corner of Billingsly Rd. and 301 on the opposite side of the road)  Dr. Harrington is our guest speaker.  He is a Bariatric surgeon and one of our favorite speakers. He is very motivating and inspiring.  Especially if you are post- op and slipping off the wagon now and then.  He highly encourages WLS post ops to attend monthly support groups.  His research shows that those who attend regularly lose best and keep it off best. So if you are nearby ...Come on down !!! We love to see new faces and always enjoy seeing our regulars and occasional folk . We have a nice mixture of pre-ops , post-ops,  and those gathering info and contemplating WLS. We have a clothing exchange so if you have things to share or need some things as you shrink down...come early so you have time to check out the goodies. *  also sign up for the free drawing we do every month.  Mama Joan is the bestest at picking great little gifts. *  there is sign up to be a pre-op 's  Angel if you'd like *  Also Joan coordinates a 'Secret-pal'  sign up *  We have 2 photo albums of " before and after"  pic's of members which is pretty awesome     to review .  Actually amazing to see the transformation each other has undergone.  Yay ! *  gotta give Joan credit for the albums too cuz she is on top of putting it together and taking regular photos and updating.  She's got the knack .
