Does anyone participatr or willing to participate in the one mile walk for obesity?
Hi Jo,
I am certainly able to walk, but I am having lithotripsy on the left kidney on the 18th so I'm not sure how I'm going to be feeling for walking anywhere on the 20th. I'll keep on eye on things and might pop in at the last minute.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hi Jo,
I am up for it if you give me the details. I will check my calendar at work tomorrow to make sure that I am good to go; let me know who, when, where! Sounds like we can knock off a pound or two! I saw Dr. S today (my iron had been low - it's okay now); I told him thanks for taking such good care of you. I have to go back and see him in 2 months to make sure my iron level stays on the rise.
How have you been feeling? Awesome?
I'm looking forward to seeing you!
~~ Trish
That is too funny Trish. Did he laugh? Well he did take really good care of me and I am beginning to feel much more like myself. Today has been my best day yet. I had my labs drawn today so we will see how I am doing. I was supposed to see him on the 24th but he has to be out of town. I got rescheduled for Oct. 1 but I need to be back at work so I am going to see Pat this time at Bayview on the 25th and then catch up with him next time.
I will find out more information. Talk to you soon. Jo
