My Rocks!
Dear All,
Just wanted to thank all *****ad/responded to my post... I am turly thankful, greatful, and humbled.
I tend to "retreat" when things are'nt going well, and not want to inflict my pain and suffering on everyone else. This holds true in my personal life as well.
You ALL are a "GIFT" and I hold that in my heart. I am not scared, just anxious. It has been a long emotional struggle to get here, and in a week I will be starting a new chapter of health, self worth, and learning to be happy.
Thank you all very much. Kristy
(((( Kristy ))))
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hey Kristy -
We're here for you anytime. No concern or question is too small and certainly none are stupid. We're all at various stages of pre and post-op, and can offer lots of info - some of it's even useful!!!
Hang in there - your emotions are all completely normal, but I felt the same way you did, I just could not wait to get started. It's certainly the journey of a lifetime.
Take care,
Tia
