Birth Control question...

I know the feeling...I was on Yasmin and had to stop 1 week prior to surgery - which had the added bonus of sending my period my way on the night before surgery...what a joy!  Anyway - for me it was more like "what I wasn't going to do" - if you know what I mean.  I don't have your medical complications, but children are not in my future plans.  I wasn't interested immediately after surgery in any sort of intimacy, but beyond the first two weeks or so - I was very careful and utilized other methods - at least for the first 3 months following.  I'm told that after 3 months back on the Yaz I could consider myself as "protected" as before.  Good luck!
