Sleep Study
Mine should have been called a No Sleep Study. I think I may have slept for a total of an hour in 5 and 10 minute periods. All the wires didn't bother me. It was those stupid things up my nose. I sleep with my face half in the pillow, so everytime I would start to fall asleep, my face would slide down the pillow and jam those things up my nose which would wake me right back up. I didn't realize that the air thing in my nose had a monitor on it too, so I even slid it out of my nose just enough to comfy, and wouldn't you know...here comes the tech..."Sandra, I'm not getting a read on the air tube, let's check it". UGH!!!!! I won't know til my next appointment at Dr. Moen's office, but I'm almost certain I'm gonna have to do this again.
So sorry you didn't get more sleep. I got a little more when I did mine, but not too much. I'm a stomach sleeper, and couldn't turn myself over enough to get into my usual sleeping position. Did they "wake" you half way through to put on cpap? They did with me. THAT was a nightmare. It made the nose things seem like a picnic. When I was finally awake for good in the morning, I felt like someone was trying to suffocate me with the cpap. I meet with Dr. Moen on 9/24 and will get my results. I am not expecting them to be good.
Hugs!

The same happened with me and they were able to get a reading. So I am hoping you don't have to repeat it. Keep us posted.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
