Hi. Several people have asked me about he high protein low carb cereal I talked about in an earlier thread. I thought I would post the information here.
Ingredients: Special protein blend (consisting of whey concentrate, sodium caseinate, soy protein isolate and wheat fiber concentrate), almonds, water, cinnamon, natural flavors, sucrolose, salt I ordered it from www.Lowcarbcorner.com It tastes wonderful with a slight cinnamon taste and it is just slightly but not overpoweringly sweet. I am very please with it. I use 2/3 cups and 2/3 cups skim milk cause I am still at the pureed soft foods stage and let the flakes get mushy.  They also have a cranberry one that is 7 carbs and 21 grams of protein in a serving.

Hey Jo! I tried the cranberry one since I'm not real hip on cinnamon -- and it's great!  It's very crunchy so I put it in my yogurt for breakfast, yummmm!

However, buyer beware, it's $14 for a small bag and by the time you add on shipping, it's rather pricey. But I don't care since I am finding I can't stand most/all of the protien drinks.  I just lock it up so the kids can't raid it!  Hugs, Nancy

Thanks Jo! I'm going to give it a try.  Cereal is something I can do a good bit of, as opposed to the nasty protein drinks! Hope to see you soon! ~~  Trish

I know it is pricy but if you think of it like a protein suplement it is not too bad. I may try the cranberry one as well. Hope to see you too Trish.

Thanks for posting! This looks great! I have ordered some of each - the 27G cereal surely will help me get to the 100+g range!

I'd like to express my thanks too.  I just ordered my first box (bag?) to see how it tastes. Now why can't somebody make high protein potato chips? --Eric
