How many of you have had or are going to have plastic surgery. I'm 32, and am anxious about what my skin will do. What are your experiences? amy

Hi Amy, I am pre-op but had the same question.  I can't help with an answer but I'm curious, too! Kendra

I'm 50, nearly 51. I am not unhappy with the way my skin had responded to my wl. Initially, I was very saggy. As I walk and move, my skin is moving right along with it. Now my arms may never return to an unflappable stage, but the rest of my body doesn't look too badly.

I have a friend that had surgery the day before mine. she weighed 280 and now weighs 159 she is also about 36 and could use a tummy tuck but I don't think that it is as bad as she thinks it is. She never did  any ecercise. She does look goooooood tho. For me  I am almost 55 and I weighed 240 and am down to 169. I could use a tummy tuck but I have never had a flat tummy anyway and at my age, well....... I did have my face and eyes and neck done. But that was not from the weight loss. The genes....... Make sure that you exercise. Tighten as much as you can.. Then and only then you can think of surgery. Everyones body reacts different. And it also depends on how much you loose.. Remember you are still young and your skin still has some elasticity to it. So at this point just do what you need to do with the weight........ Hope I have given you something to think about. Plastic surgery is a personal decision....  Ellie
