This morning I went to Bj's and go****er, crab meat and I still need to go to the market, so Jeff and Gabby can eat for the week.  I am so excited about tonight.  I am going to have my 10 week old nephew spend the night.  I think it will take my mind of things.  He is still up all night so I think I will have a nap today.  Gabriella is at my aunts house today.  I want to have a light dinner and light breakfast tomorrow morning.  Still thinking about food but my brain is starting to turn some of it off.  It is 11:36 and I still have not eaten today.  Tomorrow is the big prep day and I will live in the bathroom. Dr. Gandsas want me to stay up till midnight drinking my butt off and then I will try to sleep and then MONDAY!    HAAAAAA it will be here. Have a great weekend! Hugs Kristen

Hey Kristen, I'm busy attempting to get ready for our Boston trip.   We have a 6:30 a.m. flight tomorrow, and need to be out of the house no later than 4 a.m. to get parked and to the terminal with time to spare.    I've gotten most all of the laundry done that needs to be done.  I have one more load of my 'delicate' stuff to do, but it's not critical for the trip.   I've taken Lefty to 'Kitty sleep away camp' (boarding at the Vets ...).   I'm not sure who was more traumatized when I left him .. me or Lefty .. he just looked soooo sad in the cage.   They did give him a big one in the corner so he wouldn't be near dogs.  Mr Mo's gone to work and should be home soon.   I've had my shower but still need to do my hair and make up and get dressed.   We have a crab feast this afternoon in Dundalk.   If I don't get packed before we leave (which isn't likely to happen) I'll be rushing around like a mad woman when we get back this evening.   I have a pretty good idea what I'm taking it just needs to make it into the suitcase.  I am determined not to over pack, but I am sure I will .. I alwauys seem to have more than I need. Chat friends who live in the Boston area are meeting us at the airport tomorrow when we get in and we are spending the day sightseeing with them before we check in to the hotel.   Mr Mo called me earlier to get the address of the hotel so he could print out some maps and ideas of things to do Monday and Tuesday while I'm at the conference and he's on his own. I'll be thinking of you on Monday!   You will do great. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I'm having serious OH withdrawal!  Barely have time to get on the computer, so thought I'd sit down now and go through the board.  Have a wonderful trip and be safe.  My son is in Boston.  He rants and raves about the city.  Loves it!  Take pics.  Tell Mr. Mo not to have too much fun while you're working.  Talk when you get back. Good luck!!  Kevin has promised me a fancy steak dinner out somewhere Columbus Day weekend, which is the weekened before my surgery.  In fact, we may just celebrate early for my 50th birthday, which comes while I'm on mushies.  (No cake for me, unless it's from Baskin Robbins or Carvel!) This weekend, I'm doing fall cleaning, some weeding, and I'm going to the office for work awhile.  Want to get the house and yard in good shape before the surgery and get the mulching done, since I won't be able to lift anything for a few weeks.  It's the end of the fiscal year and I'm a federal employee, so it's a little crazy at work right now trying to move things off my desk.  Kevin, Madeline and I just got back from her Chinese language class in Annapolis (we sit in, so hopefully we'll learn a little Mandarin, too) and lunch at Macaroni Grill.  We all have nasty colds, so Kevin and Madeline are napping.

OMG what a way to spend your "last weekend", poopin' and starvin'!   But at least you know it's going to be worth it, I can't wait to hear about it afterwards.  I leave for my cruise on the 16th (my 8 day last supper so to speak) so I hope you can post before then and good luck! ~Bonnie

I spent yesterday taking care of me. I went to a great flea market held at the Episcopal Church on Edmonson Ave. At one point, they came out and announced that everything was half off the already very low prices. I found some books to read and a couple of other little ditties. Then I went and had my nails and feet done. I really needed it. I just love how my hands and feet feel afterwards. Nina took extra special care in designing my nails since I told her I will be going to New Jersey next weekend to see family. Only my immediate family knows of my surgery. My aunt and cousins may not know who I am when I arrive next Saturday. I'm kind of anxious about their reactions to my wl. I also had my ahir cut. It had been looking very shaggy. I try to go to one person as this guy knows how to cut fine hair very well. I have had Jeff work on my hair for about 6 years now. As usual, he did a great job so that when I pulled up in front of the house, my room mate yelled out the window " I love you hair!".  I need to do some mundane things around the house today. I have to get my laundry done as I see it will rain next week. My dryer died about 3 weeks ago, so I have to hang my clothes out. I prefer to hang them, but always have a dryer for the in case times.  OOO... I did it. I finally was able to inject myself. I gave myself my B-12 injection yesterday. I have tried over the past few months and chickened out as I got the needle near my skin. Well, I just popped it in and gave myself my good mood juice.  That's my weekend.

Good Morning;            I saw your post and saw who your surgeon is.  Dr. Gandsas did my surgery in March.  In March I was 242, and now I am under 190.  They wanted me to slow down on my weight loss and try to eat more so that I didn't reach my plateau to soon.  Dr. Gandsas is the best.  He is so concerned about his patients.  I received excellent care from the staff at the hospital.  I just wanted to say good luck.  Make sure you go in there with eyes wide open, no fear and a lot of prayer.  My GOD be with you.
