Living Will?

The way I understand it, and advanced directive is what YOU want done by medical personnel in the event that you are brought in, and unable to make your own decisions.  If you were to go to the hospital unconscious, do you want them to take heroic measures, or simply just to make you as comfortable as possible and let nature decide the rest or something in between? On the medical shows on TV you hear them talk about DNR, or do not resuscitate.

Take it from someone who has been on the other end and had to make the decisions for her mother.  At 27 I had to decide to resuscitate or not?  Make it your decision.
