Living Will?
I did not. My WLS was my 2nd major surgery and while it probably would have been a good idea to have an Advance Directive, that is the one subject that really caused Mr Mo to sort of freak out, so I just let it be.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Kristin, of course you won't need it. But, as a loved one who had to make final decisions for someone who didn't leave a will or directives, I can say it is a very loving thing to leave. I need to get the forms for myself before I go in. I've been remiss in not doing it, after swearing I'd never put my family through that.
Hugs!

DH and I have been talking about this in years and I feel so stupid an lazy that we still haven't done it, even in my previous job we had this legal fee deducted from my salary to support legal transactions like this, I never went and made it, I plan to do it.
Call me stupid, but what is advanced directive?
