Need P.C.P. Recommendations - HARFORD COUNTY
Hi everyone. I am hoping to find some people in Harford County who could maybe recommend a new PCP.
As I've stated in a few other posts, mine is NOT supportive AT ALL of any "assisted weight loss"...she seems to think if I'd just stop eating, I'd suddenly not be obese.
So, I'm thinking my process toward surgery will be much easier with a more sensitive PCP...anyone know one???
Thanks!
Would you consider going the Perry Hall - Actually between Perry Hall and White Marsh on Honeygo Center Drive? I go to Jeffrey Cool. He has helped me every step of the way. A few years ago he didn't think much of the surgery. But in the last 2 years he has changed his view based upon better outcomes and personally knowing patients who have had the surgery. He is great. I have gone to him for close to 20 years. His phone # is 410-256-5858.
I really don't know anyone in Harford County. But, maybe Dr. Cool's office could recommend someone. Never hurts to ask.
Hope this helps some,
April

Hi!
I go to Patient First in Bel Air for my PCP. They have been great and supportive. And, they are open 365 days per year. You can request a certain doctor if you wish. They always have their 3-day dr. schedule on answering when you call. And best of all, they are pretty quick. They are located on Rt. 24, in between Weis grocery store and the MVA. Good luck to you! You can call them and tell them your insurance company and they will tell you who to choose from for a PCP.

My PCP has been very supportive of my weight loss surgery. I wrote my own letter of medical necessity (for ins) and she copied it onto her letter head and signed it. She is an awesome doctor!!!
She is located in Bel Air. Email me if you would like her contact info.
