Cleared for Surgery!!!! Countdown to the 12th.

Got my cardio clearance today. So I guess I'm on my countdown. Tuesday (day after Labor Day) my husband and I see Bev (Dr. Vanguri's nurse) for 2-3 hours to go over everything. Then Monday the 10th I go to Franklin Square for a type and cross-match on my blood. Then Wednesday the 12th is THE DAY. I'm scheduled for 10:30 a.m. I'm excited and scared. Mostly though I believe I'm just determined. ..... In the homestretch .....

I am in the early stages. My consult with the surgeon is Sept 24. I still have awhile before I actually get the sugery, I hope all goes well so that I can have it by the end of Dec.

Hi I am with Dr. Greene as well and I have had my initial visit this Thursday, I can't wait to be in your place, just began my 6 months supervised diet with Weigh****chers. good luck, are you having it done in Shady grove Hospital or surgery center? have you began liquid diet yet? I wish you good luck and keep us posted. Ellie
