Gastric Sleeve Questions

Hi, I'm a new member.  I have been researching weight loss surgery.  I went for my surgical appointment with Doctor Singh from Saint Agnes.  He said that I would be a good candidate for the Gastric Sleeve Surgery.  I was wondering if anyone has had it and could give me some info about their experiences. Hi and welcome. I would suggest that you also post this question on the duodenal switch board as well. The Sleeve is the first part of the duodenal switch. There are quite a few individuals on the DS board that because of their higher BMI had the DS done in two parts. First the sleeve then the switch. If you post there you will get great responses from those that have the sleeve. Good luck. Jo

Hello there, I had the sleeve done on Aug 14th in Mexico by Dr. Alvarez and I have lost 26lbs so far and 10 inches. For me the surgery went very well no pain I had to question the Dr.to see if he did anything. The first two weeks post-op are the hardest while your stomach is healing but I love my VSG thats the term we use on our board which I do advise you to check out here on OH.
